So afraid!!
So afraid!!
I was cruising in my 86na a couple of days ago. I noticed a slight stall, then another then my temp gauge goes to almost 270. I pulled over and the car had overheated. put water and antifreeze in but the car wouldnt start. I got it home, crawled under it. When the motor turns over, antifreeze blows out the exhaust manifold where the exhaust pipe connects. Im afraid that ive cracked a head, cylinder, or, best case, a blown head gasket. Has anyone got any ideas before i tear the heads off?

i have a 1986 na engine in better shape than yours but needs rebuild--never been overheated and not seized. needs main bearing, oil pump, rings and valve job--hay, its gonna be apart--might as well check out the rest--------good strong engine before suicide by oil pump.......

Pull your spark plugs & look at the tips. If it's blowing coolant out the exhaust... 99% sure you warped the head & melted the headgasket.
