Has anyone ever tried putting rods an pistons from a vg30de into a vg30et? If so, were there any issues? I have read there is no way to know what the compression will be due to the difference in heads.

 

I guess what I am asking is, does anyone know what the compression would be if I put stock size rods and pistons for the vg30de in my vg30et? The reason I wanted to do this is I cant find forged rods for the vg30et.

 

get some aftermarket rods and pistons for a z32 install into vg30et...

get some wiesco pistons with total seal rings on h-beam rods with clevite bearings. it wont be cheap, but it will be stronger then ****.

 

H beam rods is pretty vague seeing as how 70% of aftermarket rods are H beam. lol
