I'm assuming you mean the cam pulleys?

You gotta use something to hold that pulley still while you're removing the bolt.

I use a broken timing belt with a Vice-Grip and a long bar, to hold the pulley. I've alse seen people use a screwdriver or metal bar to hold the pulley.

exactly. Use it going through one of the holes of the pulley. And wedge it to a surface of the head/block.

nope, you're right. Just turn the bolt "counter-clockwise" to get it loose. Chances are that they've never been removed. And are going to take a "big stick" to get them to loosen. I'd suggest using plenty of penetrating lube. Just spray it on. Let it sit for a while. And repeat muliple times. Hopefully that will help.

Or, if you're very carefull, try tapping on the bolt with a hammer. Sometimes, the corrosion just needs to be knocked around to release it's hold on the surfaces.

There was a program, somewhere, that you could build your own "Southpark Characters". This was the closest I could come to that looked like me, back then.

I can't find the program or website anymore. I just had that saved on my PC for a while. I just decided it was about time I added an avitar to myself. And just resized it for use here.

Sorry man.

Maybe if you do a search, you might come across it in the web.
