oil temp sensor in-op

Gents,

While putzing under my 87 Z-31T I accidentally pulled the wire connected to the oil temp sensor out of the sensor. Anyone know how to reconnect the wire inside of the sensor?

Nissan claims I need to replace the entire oil pan in order to get a new sensor...I hope you can tell me otherwise.

Thx

Steve

Oil Temp Sensor found-thanks

Good Twin,

Thx for the info on the proper oil temp sensor. I was hoping I didn't need to replace the entire pan.

Take care,

Steve
PS: See you're from Utah...just rode through there on my Harley last month (Delta, UT) Beautiful country

Nice! Though Delta is in the middle of nowhere. Did you by chance see the Little Sahara Sand Dunes?
