oil pressure

what is the oil pressure supposed to be at an idle for an 84 300zx non turbo?

depends on what the condition of the motor is in, the condition of the oil pump the weight oil you use, the temp of the oil....etc

anything less then 18psi you should start worrying..

100PSI is probably gonna kill the oil pump.
