nose mounted intercooler?

If I mount my inter cooler in the nose, where the intake is mounted, and i cut two holes on the hood for air flow, will rain damage the intercooler?

When I go to install one I'm thinking it would look pretty good there, and it would keep the condenser and radiator from being blocked.

Maybe vents instead of holes?

Outstanding, I definately will get the fan done, but top of my list is exhaust. I need to get it to pass california smog anyways so I'll replace my cat, and the muffler (has a BIG hole in it). Then after I pass smog rip the whole thing off, throw it in the back of the garage (I'll need it in two years for re-smogging) and put on a 3" no cat no muffler exhaust.

definately let me know how it goes, try to take some pictures, I was looking in there and it looks crowded right under the A/C compressor. I'm not sure yet how the piping should go from the turbo to the intercooler then back to the throttle body. Without getting rid of my A/C
