I just put my 1988 Nissan 300zx n/a in the shop for a bad alternator. I am really not sure if its the problem though. here is all the things thats been acting up. My battery goes dead after a few days, when i first start my car non of the gadges work until i hit a ceartin speed or RPM. when i first start my car and turn on my headlights, the will come on but not pop up.(and no i didn't modify it to do that) I took up my stick boot and the metal stuff under it and i can hear alot of my engine and stuff. but then the other day after all this stuffs been happening, i start hearing a sound that happends mosty when i just idle. but it stops mostly when i am going. So if anybody wants to help me out here. i just wasn't sure if it was just the alternator or what.
