the hood support rod?? or are you talking about the spent radioactive fuel rod that nissan bought from the old Chernobyl power plant after it melted down. to engineer it into the body too all give us cancer, then mister "K" would magically and sell us all a cure for cancer and a new z???

well if it is a resonator why is it so bg and do i need that to run the car lagally

or you could take the approach of: you don't know what it is but it looks bad so take it out and see what happens! all you poor people and SMOG TESTS! my inspection consists of the lights and tires being checked. occassionally brake pads. last time i got my car inspected, he only checked the lights, one didn't work, and he slapped a sticker on it. i could be dripping fuel, oil, and nuclear sludge out of my tail pipe and i would get a pass sticker for $15. good old VA!

Yeah, come to oklahoma for a few days, snd you'll see some really really crappy cars.
Then next to it there will be like a 8 second pro stock camaro. Hardly street drivable but they like to show off cars like that here just cause they can. Its great!
