you need to be more specific. When you say it doesn't work, do you mean it just doesn't blow air at all? Or it doesn't blow hot air?

- check the water level in the radiator, usually a sign you are really low on water.
- heater core clogged
- stuck open thermostat (is the top hose flowing water immediately when you start your car? If yes, then the thermostat is stuck open)

check the fuse to the blower as well as it's relay. And all it's connections. The blower fan gets it's power independent from the console.

on the topic of heater...
when driving with the heater off, I can still feel heat from the heater core although the blower is off. some cars have a heater control valve that shuts off flow to the heater core unless the heater is on. Do these Z's have that? If so I need a new one maybe. Otherwise for summer I may bypass the heater core then reconnect in the fall. I imagine all that heat with no airflow could overheat the heater core and wear it out sooner? Also, my dash lites have a loose connection or something, speedo & tach work 98% of the time but no power to the gas gage or the heater controls display although the fan comes on if I switch it on. There' s also no power to the two round gages whatever they are. Just got the car last week and I love it!

WOW! What a GREAT question! How informative and descriptive you have been.

What doesn't work?
Does it blow air?
Can you adjust the vents?
Manual or automatic climate controls?
