engine swap

A friend of mine has agreed to put a V8 300 hp (infiniti engine) into my 86 300z. Any thoughts anyone?

Go for it, keep us updated. Check out www.hybridz.org several people there have done this swap I believe.

Dr. Buddha put a SBC into his Z31. Not quite the same as the VQ45 motor, but if I were to do put in a V8, I like the 350.
