Hey all, i just recently installed an aftermarket stereo in my car, and ever since i did it, my dash lights have been out. I took it to a professional after i tried to install the stereo twice, and had them fix my power antenna and memory on the unit, but my lights will not come on in the dash still. Im thinking i might have burned something up by connecting some wrong wires, could this possibly effect my lights in the dash or is it just coincidence that it went out while working on the stereo. I wanted to get a new speedometer and all anyway, does anyone know a good place to get a sweet looking speedometer replacement for an 84 n/a???

maybe i'm just boring, but i happen to think the stock speedo looks just fine. search on ebay and you may find a reverse glow EL panel, but i believe that was only for the turbo.

it looks fine but it doesnt work hehe, i wouldnt mind a replacement stock speedo but it would be nice to have somethin brighter

I had the same problem on my 84 Turbo all it was was the Interior lights fuse in the fuse box by your left shin. Check them
