new exhaust work!

today I started working on my car again. I've repaired the majority of electrical foul up's, including my gas guage sending unit. I also did some exhaust work in itself. I've hallowedout my catalytic converter (I live in MS, no emissions laws). I've got a 3" cat-back system, using a weld-on Thrush II 3" in, 3" out muffler. I have never heard a car other than a 750+hp supra that sounds like this... I am truly amazed.. I'll try and get a sound clip if possible. I'll do what I can. To top all of this, I've just gone through an AMSOIL change and flush.. atop new NKG wires and Accel plugs. I've got the modest tune-ups...K&N intake, 60mm 240sx throttlebody, deep cycle battery, 70 amp BeckArnley alternator. Today, I'm adding a flex fan that I got off a honda prelude in a junk yard (sorry guys...no engine). I'm in the process of removing the A/C componets, simply because 70% of them are damaged to the point of replacement, including a locked up compressor. So, if anyone has any imput, or advice that I can use while I'm in my "working" mode... I'd appreciate it.

go ahead and pull that crap out, you'll be amazed at how much room that frees up and how much all that weighs. if youre turbo your options are a lot better if u do take it out. id love to see some pics of the exhaust, i have the same on my 85 turbo.

okay, first thing to remember... the 84-88 "exhaust" rear sections ( a muffler with a small pipe to connect right above/after the driverside CV axle, are all the same. HKS still carries them... Specified for your car or not, I don't know... but they're still there, almost got one for my car, untill I realized it had alot of resistance... I like my chambered muffler.
