im in the process of swapping my alternator with the 90amp maxima alternator. im just curious if i have to put the piece with the red wire on it (i forgot what its called) on the new maxima alternator? the red wire connects to the battery part and the red wire runs to a little piece that is bolted down with the ground wire. do i need to put that on the new maxima alternator when instaling? thanks
