87 300zx 77,000 miles help!!!!

I just aquired a 87 300 turbo z and the owner stated he hasn't started it in years and does not know what is wrong with it. This will be my first rebuild if I have to. Fuel pump is bad I know that now, I sprayed a little starter fluid in her after I replaced plugs and put a squirt of oil in each cylinder. She fired right up, I need to know if I should brake the engine down and replace all seals, belts, hoses, ext. I plan on adding about 100 or so hp to her and would like to know the best approach.

That depends on the condition of the seals / gaskets ... does it look like they are leaking? Most likely you don't need to do anything but change the fluids.

If it aint broke, don't fix it ... Unless you have tons of money to blow on nothing else, don't rebuild the motor unless it is needed. NisTune, Intercooler, and increased boost will get you 100hp+.

Every time I pick up a new Z31 the first thing I do within a few days of getting of the car, is the timing belt for piece of mind.

Let's see some pics!

Get it running first. Then worry about making it reliable. Then worry about modifying it.
