I had my automatic transmission looked at and was told $2200 for an overhaul. I wasn't really interested and thats a decent amount of money. I had already decided I wanted a 5spd 300zx but couldn't find one in good condition when I was looking for my 300. Now that I might need a new tranny I would like to swap to a 5spd. What changes would I need to make? Anything for a grain of salt to the transmission would be helpful. Any ideas on costs? Thank you in advance for all replies.
