Hey friends,

I'm hoping someone can give me a little sound advise! I'm currently repairing a leak from the input shaft seal and I have a question regarding a gasket that goes against the transmission. This gasket presses the throw out bearing fork guide that slides over the input shaft.
I've been told I need a special androbolic gasket, rather than RTV gasket sealer. Can anyone tell me what I need to use here?
I would hate to put this back together and have another problem...

Oh, I'm also having trouble finding the rubber shield for the throw out bearing fork. It's torn a little bit and I'd like to replace it. I can't find it on the internet anywhere! Can anyone tell me where I might find one?? Thanks again...

 

Is the transmission a true Tremec and not a Nissan FS5R90A (aka, Borg Warner T5)? I'm not sure I have every seen a rubber shield for the fork, but T5s I've seen had been out of the car at least once and may have been tossed. I suspect you do have a Tremec swapped for the original 90A and the questions and parts are specific to the Tremec.
