ok so i found a z31 parts car for cheap and i was wondering is it worth it to buy a parts car and would anyone want or need parts it's an 86 n/a

i don't, but always take a free car! it can be good for something. if nothing more then selling the t-tops and what ever other valuable parts it has

ok then im just going to see if i can get it for free then strip it of the wiring and aluminum then sell it to the scrap.

no the z31 is dead and sitting for 2 years but yes the 240z does!!!

nothing but now i can't find a dang air filter the auto part stores around here suck!!! but im still getting the dying while at idle...unless it was due to me not having the choke in?

go to NAPA and im pretty sure they can order it, but try any z up 83 i think they are all the same...

clean your old one for now

the choke could be the problem if it is very cold when you are putting the choke in. it should usually stay out for just a little bit. being too rich will also make it die at idle. if the exhuast smells much worse then your 300, it's probably rich. also rich if it blows any black smoke, or if you are able turn the jet screws in any without causing a hesitation when you hit the throttle, you might be a redneck... i mean running rich.

could also just be that your carbs are too dirty to keep the car running when it has so little momentum, so if you havn't rebuilt your carbs, you may want to.

i have one coming in at 6:30am tomorrow so i just need to play with my carbs. i was also wondering how hard is it to re-build su carbs ii have the flat tops.
