Tt Z31

Couple Questions:

1. Will the stock turbo manifolds off of a Z32 fit garret T3/4s??

2. Will z32 manifolds bolt up to a Z31 series motor?

me a friend magically fit z33 borla headers on a vg30de head im sure you could easily make yourself a set of custom TT manifolds, but TT sucks for reliability, just upgrade it..

Thanks for the input guys... Just out of curiosity why wont the Z32 manifolds fit on the older motor? Is it more an issue of fitment due to space or wont the bolt patterns and ports linejup correctly?

I know little about the Z32 and even I can tell you they have completely different heads than the Z31. Diff heads, diff exhaust ports, diff engine bay setup, etc etc etc............................................... ......

Just put a T3/04 single turbo on there. That will be plenty for your engine.

Ummm... Why does TT suck for reliability? How is it any less reliable than a single turbo?

look at how many TT cars are daily driven, then look at how many single turbo cars are daily driven, its really simple the more crap there is on a car, the more crap there is to break and go bad, that and just look at the z32 TT.

We aren't talking about a Z32 TT, we're talking about twin turboing the Z31. Not at all the same thing.

no, but TT cars have been proven to not be as reliable as a single turbo.

So you're saying a motor with one turbo is more reliable than the same motor with two turbos?

pretty much, unless your going all stand alone TT cars are more prone to break down.

WOW! Simply incredible. How in the hell does having twin turbos make the engine any less reliable?

it doesnt, the only thing it does is give you one more turbo to go bad and a few more pipes to possibly develop a boost leak. case closed

i think hes under the impression thats every one with twin turbos is craking the boost to 40,000psi each and blowing them up.

3000gt vr4's are bi turboed, some older volvos....the 3000gt has a drive shaft problem but i dont think its from the turbos, the audi tt....well it just sucks

the audi tt isnt even a turbo car...... LOL! if your blowing turbo's on a stock audi tt you got bigger problem than you think the 3000gt isnt jsut a driveshaft problem, its entire tranny and transfer case problem. they are week. there are alot of other bi-turbo audi's though.

twin turbo's doesnt make a car less reliable per-say, it just gives you a couple more things to go wrong.

the audi tt is because i see alot of people saying "tt" and i always think of that pile of crap.
you know what an awsome car is to bi-turbo? 3 cylinder geo metro, man those things can take a ton of boost, talk about super thick cylinder walls. i hear justys take a bit to.
all this bi-turbo talk has gotten me bi-curious about bi-reliability.
i guess if you blew twice as had you could blow out your sphincter! messy

There are way too many car retards. The "TT" in Audi TT doesn't stand for twin turbo. It stands for "Tourist Trophy".

As far as the car goes, it comes with either a single turbo 1.8L inline 4 or a 3.2L V6 for the first generation and a single turbo 2.0L inline 4 or 3.2L V6 for the new generation. You could get the AWD (Quattro) system with either motor.

Doesn't the T in TRD stand for turbo?

Real mature people... And I say that being very immature.
