Thinking of buying this '85 Z31 Turbo

Gretting Z world. I have been looking for a fun weekend/aux car and the 80's Z31s really caught my eye. I was on craigslist and found this surprisingly immaculate '85 Z31 turbo. it has everything I want in a 300ZX. Digital dash, original head unit, manual gearbox, turbo V6, beautiful interior. I wanted to know if this was a good buy, and what kind of gremlins these cars have. What should I watch out for?

Welcome to ZDriver! And gorgeous car. Look for rust... under the car, rockers, lower fenders, bumpers, etc. Also check the inside of the panels to see if they've been repaired. Ask for paperwork too. They are fun cars!

The car looks good. Digital dashboards can be a problem. Rust, accidents, and owner neglect is what you have to carefully check for in any old car, not just a z31. Read this FAQ:
