Question suspension help!

hi im new to the forum and i need some help. i need new shocks and springs in the rear and having trouble picking an affordable brand. my buddy swears by tokico blues but i thought id ask you guys. he also told me i can use springs for a s13. please give me some advice id really appreciate it. thanks guys! btw i love sliding it so stock is out of the question

No. You can't use springs from an S13. The Tokico blues are good shocks for the Z31. For springs, it's rare to find them just front or rear, so you'll probably be buying a full set. It's best to just new shocks all the way around as well. If the rears are bad, chances are the fronts will be bad soon enough as well. I like Eibachs for regular street driving.

Spend the money on some good ones, the car is pretty heavy and can be a handful to keep control. I personally have two z31's with tokiko iluminas on them and couldn't be happier! They are a little pricey though, but waaaay worth it.

Exclamation springs help

I'm new to this so my question is that i have z31 (SS) that i just bought but it does not have the OEM springs so I'm trying to get the st springs but i checked almost every place there discontinue so if any one could help me where to look for st springs or any other brand that has same wight rate and stiffens as st springs or ss springs thank you

Illuminia's will not fit on the SS, Get the blue's which were stock on the SS. ST's are not available new right anymore. Look on the other Z31 forums in the WTB section for people who are upgrading to coilovers and are selling their ST's.

thanx i just got the blue tokico hp the set I'm just looking for the wright springs i only seen the b&g, eibach, tokico but i seen the wight rates there not stiff enough like the ss or st.

i need get springs o ready i cant wait to much on looking for the st springs do to i have to take it to body shop to get it repainted so if i have to chose from tokico or eibach witch is stiffer and squats less if you guys can help thanx

Eibach progressive rate Front 140-240 Rear 183-254 drop 0.75
Tokico, Front 150 Rear 165 drop 0.75
ST Front 200 Rear 226 drop 1.0

i couldn't find st so if i chose from eibach or tokico witch one would you recommend fro SS
