Yes it does work if your willing to spend more than an hour doing it yourself. I would rather pay to have my mechanic do it right so I dont have to mess with all the fuel injectors and the intake collector around it just to get to the damn plugs

 

I take it this means you don't have an owner's manual.

remove spark plug wire.
slip tool over spark plug.
stick little rod through holes in top of tool.
turn counter clockwise to remove.
