No, you've dug your own hole and shown how much of a tool you really are.

Hahaha. You crack me up. Classic internet keyboard warrior. I step into "your" forum, and offer a differing opinion than your own, and you can't handle it. Makes me laugh, and reminds me why I don't waste my time on messageboards anymore. Arguing with a southern redneck Camero racing hillbilly never gets anywhere. But you've got 5000 posts here on teh interwebz forumz, so therefore your(sic) the coolest kid on the block, eh? Hahahaha

So how is your oil situation coming along? By the way Son of Lars and hoov100 have been making me laugh, but you both have strong facts.

For us, a new turbo, or an engine swap or overhaul is not really an issue, and might even be fun! BUT, Z31's are worthless old shitboxes, generally speaking. I'd bet that many forum members are high school kids, poor college kids, or other young guys who wanted a cool sports car for a few hundred bucks.
Hey I'm a poor college student... But I have learned my way around the engine with this car. Hell, even did my own head gasket job. So whats wrong with owning my Z and being broke in college?

I don't have stron facts. Fact is, hoof didn't know if I was retarded or just don't know what I'm talking about. Fact is, I'm both. I'm actually a retarded 9 year old, posting nonsense from my mothers basement.

Monkies, there is nothing wrong with being a poor college kid with an old Z. I applaud you for keeping the old girl alive.

So can you show me a repair guide or service manual statement that says how much is an acceptable amount of oil loss over the service interval? Because I've never lost more than about 1/2 qt in 5000 miles. It's usually in the realm of 1/4qt and the motors have 150,000 miles on them.

I can show you this, yes. I took this photo just now. It's a section from a factory issue service manual for my 1977 630csi. All the modern era stuff I have is on my GT1/TIS system, and it's not connected to internet, or printer/scanner etc. Since then, the acceptable limit has been changed to 1L/1200 miles.

I find one thing odd... 3. pistons seized... oil consumption at that point really doesn't matter!!! Kind of funny. My 1975 ElCamino burned a quart a week. At that point I was putting 3,000 miles on it in 6 weeks. Engine holds 5 quarts so in theory all I needed to do was spin on a new filter every six weeks.

Yes...the rest of the world knows about you Californians. Its kind of funny that a state that is sitting on a methane bomb, with mudslides, earthquakes and seismic and volcanic activity perched on the precipice of total and inevitable self destruction at all times is so **** about some smog. Lighten up California!
