Replacement Shocks for my 86 300zx Turbo
I am looking to replace all my original oem shocks on my 1986 300zx turbo. I want shocks the will give the car the same feel as the original oem shocks. Can anyone please tell me whats replacement shocks would achieve this?

I asked the same Q a couple of years back and never got a clear answer. I guess shocks and the ride they provide are kinda personal. I replaced what I think were original OEM factory shocks with a set of TKC. I talked to a lot of parts guys. The TKCs were a bit more expensive than other brands but turned out OK. Made a huge difference in the ride and cornering. The idea is that if you don't like the ride you get, replace them with another set. Combine the shocks with a new set of tires and you won't recognize the ride. Brand new all around. Go for it. Hey, it's only money
Since we were into the rear shock towers, I replaced the speakers, too. Good investment. Newer speakers are more full range and can handle more powerful amps. Be careful with the leads to the speakers, to keep them in phase with the front speakers.

I rebuilt mine replaced fluid in rears , and fronts fluid and new caps Its worth a try , basicly a bit of fluid and your time. If no major leaks ,dull spotted shafts
tires, 60's instead of 50's a big inprovement
