Is the car an auto or 5 speed? And you really need to invest in a Haynes / service manual.

Passenger headlight problem

I've been searching these forums for days and cannot find the answer I'm looking for.

1989 300zx non-turbo 5sp.

The passenger headlight does not work on HIGH BEAMS. Tried a new bulb, but the wire is not getting power for the high beam circuit...only on the passenger side. I have considered running a wire (as so many have suggested to others) from the driver side, but would prefer to do this correctly.

MANY of you have referenced a "HEADLAMP" relay. I cannot find it in my FSM. It's referenced many times in schematics, but I do not know the PHYSICAL location of the relay. The relay diagram posted does not show a HEADLAMP relay, with the exception of it being noted on the THEFT relay. The posted diagram also does not show a FUEL PUMP relay.

Is there another location for other relays? Can someone please help? Could it be the headlamp relay (if there is one), or possibly the headlamp sensor?

It's your headlamp switch. And it has been covered many times. But, it's normally on the low beam contacts (since they're normally used far more than the high beams).
