Question Quest on gearing

I sit around 3.5 gs at about 75-80 mph 5th ....... what do i need to do to lower that? rear end ? tranny? If u have something to do this, lmk. I want better gas mileage on the interstate but still want my power on the lower end.

then drive slower and learn to pedal the car when cruising. I managed to get about 25-35 MPG on my 88T on the freeway cruising at 65 with the 3.73's.

Change the diff for a most desired ratio.

Select a transmission with a more desirable gear ration.

Spend money for custom gear ratio.

Use cruise control when possible

Tie helium ballons to your right foot to stay out of the throttle.
