Not bad for a Turbo that dyno'd 120HP
I was on the freeway heading home from the city tonight at about 80mph when I passed a prelude (mustve been only a year or two old) and he immediatly tried to catch up. well I just floored it in 5th and stayed ahead of him all the way up to 115mph when I finally just coasted back down to 70. I stayed ahead of him the whole time. dont those things have 200 HP? I dont get it
PS only mods I have are a K&N intake and a hollowed out cat. it gets eerily quiet in high rpms now.

It is fun to blow away other cars in an old Z isn't it. I pulled up next to an r33 nissan skyline on a highway he took of thinking he was so cool lol. I droped to 4th and planted the foot and flew past him highting the end of the speedo, oh what fun (but I was lucky to find an 84 Z with aprox 350 rwhp for only $3,500US). He puled his head in when I went by laughing lol, and he took the next turn off...

Prelude vs. Z
The prelude and your 86T both have 200HP, but the prelude achieves its peak HP at a higher rpm. The Z31 also has 227 lb/ft tourque while the prelude has a lowly 195 and it's also a heavier car.
Your filtercharger also gives you a little more hp, anywhere between 202-205.
I have also have an 86 turbo with an intercooler and boost controller and several other mods.
Without the boost turned up I run about 230-240 HP
