Welcome to ZDriver!

There's quite a few Z owners in AL. I'm sure they'll chime in soon.

my age doesn't matter...muwahahaha! lol we've hit a bit of bump so we haven't been able to do anything. my Z got in a wreck, 5.0's dumping too much fuel (we think), and focus has practically NO clutch

Welcome to the world of Z-dom.

I try to keep it at the track too. But, I find myself at the local meeting spots for street racing often. But, I rarely drive with them. My record is bad enough. But, it's like a good car show every Saturday night. But instead of a bunch of gay chrome and polished cars, you see the real beauty. And, that is purpose built cars for speed. Nothing is more beautiful than function. Race cars do it for me too. But, I don't get to go to free races every Saturday I want for free.

Whatever happens, put others safety ahead of your own. Killing yourself is one thing. But, it's not cool to do something dangerous around a lot of other traffic.

ok...? btw, i don't "street race" persay. i prefer a track or we have spots that cars don't travel down. i.e. private roads.

and i've been into the world of z-dom for a while now lol

If it's not on a sanctioned track, it's street racing, and the cops don't like it.
We don't go speeding down busy streets either.

Welcome to the forum man. I think we are both new the the Z world. It's been around longer than we have been alive. haha

i have been to jail 6 times (once for doing 156 over in a 50) and have numerous tickets and dam am i glad i know almost the entire police force. yeah, a good radar detector and knowing where the cops like to hide, when they hide there and habits of them will really make you "racing club" alot safer when your activities get involved. i have this philosophy "i am only about to do something illegal if the only danger is to myself, for then the only person to blame is myself if something should go wrong"

the only Z i like more than my '86 is the Shiro Special. just beautiful. and we race on the track...only "street racing" we do is on a private road so if something goes wrong, we're the ones that'll get hurt

Welcome Zetto,

You've come to one of the right spots for our beloved Z cars. I've seen that many have already stated how much they love their Z's. And I have to agree that the Z31's I've owned were the best of the bunch. Personally, I just love the 86's. I've owned 3 of them. Currently, I only have one. But, the turbo I had was just a monster. I'm hoping to eventually build my current one to surpass it's performance. Good luck and enjoy the ride!!
