Talking New to Z driver

Hello all, Just a short intro here. I'm Andrew and I have an 89 z31 N/A. I found the car sitting at a co workers house for over a year, so I asked him about it and he asked if I was interested in it...Long story short I looked it over, it was in great shape except some fading and a dent. The engine is still strong even though it has over 196,xxx on it. When it came to price he said $500!! I obviously took it right there on the spot.

Now I am the proud owner of a 89z31

Now for the questions..
I am new to the Z car world and I was wondering if there was anything I should be aware of that is out of the ordinary for the z31's?

Thanks a lot

welcome to a world of wonder. wonder why the car doesn't run and/or some other things. Download the fsm from xenon. Look thru it very good manual but helps to understand how they organized it. Take the file down to Kinko's and have them blow up the circuit diagrams to 11x17 - makes it much more readable. you probably need to put new ball joints, outer tie rod ends and bushings in the front suspension. New shocks all around. makes the car go where you point it instead of wandering the road. If you don't know when the timing belt was replaced might want to do that. If it breaks so does your engine. Check for vacuum leaks and fuel pressure two things that often cause grief to z owners.

Sounds good. Thank you for the advice!

Beware of the timing belt. if you don't know when it was last changed that's the absolute first thing I would do Besides and oil change.
