So I took the Z back to the dyno tonight. Got more this time. 8)

Last time I ran 17lbs of boost with a boost leak. Last time yielded 330whp & 409wtq.

New for this dyno run:
20lbs of boost
gutted plenum & plenum spacer
3" cat back

378whp & 445wtq this time.

I was told my car still isn't holding boost past 5200 rpms & that if it did I should be over 400whp. The shop feels it's my internal wastgate flapper not holding.

 

Holy shat dude! And still running a beautiful a/f ratio throughout (minus the bump @ 3300). What size injectors are ya running?

 

420 injectors for the JWT set up.

 

how big of a turbo?

 

internal wastegat flapper not holding.... idk man, that sounds kinda weak sauce, i would look around for boost leaks instead. that or maybe it is time to upgrade teh turbo and go external wastegate.

EDIT: and also yeah what hoov said what kind of turbo are you using? i was gonna say if its still a small one your boost drop could be from that, it lost its efficiency.
