go to z31.com and you can interpret things like year or model. I can already tell that it is non turbo though. if you want a full history, go to carfax.com. Also, if you are interested, 1-800-nissan1 can tell you where the car originated and weather or not it needs the injector recall.

Hello lacks a vehicle,
I hope you're not actually asking someone that already has a Carfax subscription to check your vin number for you! That would be immoral Besides, I don't think anyone would risk helping you openly with that on an Internet forum. Also, a single Carfax report only cost 19.99 and an unlimited pass for 24.99! If you ask me, it's definitely worth the price, especially if you are purchasing from an auction, an online company, or someone you cannot trust (like a car salesman or a senator...). Good luck!

If you're looking for something you want to make pretty fast, keep looking. That one is a 2+2 non-turbo GL, so it won't be too wimpy, but there's a bit of weight savings if you hold out for a 2-seater. You can make 2+2's fast, but the same mod's you'd do to it would be more noticable on a lighter 2-seater.
It's all about what you want. Condition of the car can only be told by taking a good look at it. Carfax will tell you about things that have been reported, but often there are many things that go unreported. For example, if you carfax the vin on my first z (an 86na 2-seater) it won't show much at all, although I totalled the car. I scrapped it after stripping it, so don't worry - it's not out there roaming the streets with a patched up unibody.
