My car is a douchebag.

Sooo I have an 85 300zx non turbo. It starts pretty easy when its cold and thats when it runs best. Once it warms up, its hard to start, the idle sucks, sometimes when i pull in the clutch the engine dies, and it all around lacks power. I've adjusted the idle and the timing (though the timing was jumpy....maybe because it is idling crappy?) replaced the plugs, PCV, wires, distributor cap, rotor.....no good.
If anyone could please help me figure this out I will love you forever.

Welcome to ZDriver!

Start by checking the ECU codes.

codes

I forgot to mention that i did that....it pretty much just lists off every code, so im thinking its probably something else throwing it off...I love these cars, but talk about a mess....these machines are a reflection of everything 80s haha

Pretty much? So it gives all 13+ codes? I imagine you are exaggerating... maybe you could tell us the "actual" codes?

Sorry...I shouldn't ask for help then be super vague. Its giving me 12, 13,22,23,31,33,42,43....i took a MAF off of another car with a working one, but it still gives me the error code for it which makes me think something is just throwing it all off. Could a faulty O2 sensor or fuel pressure regulator cause all this mess?

Oook I ran all the codes again and....miraculously they are all gone. The diagnosis ran exactly how it's supposed to. Where should I go from here?
Thanks!

if the idle sucks, maybe check all your vacuum lines. It could be intake gaskets that have gone bad too. if its ever been opened up, they should definitely be replaced.
