i just got e new cd player for my z and when i went tome i noticed my light would not go up there was lights where on but it woule not go up.and u know when u leave the light on the girl tell's u ""lgiht's are on"" well she dont say it. did the guy mess up somthing. wire??

 

Check the middle button in the 3 button pod to the left of the steering wheel first. It raises and lowers the headlights and may have gotten pushed into the "down" position accidently.

Sounds like you figured out that I told you the wrong button
You said in the post that the lights worked. Whatever the case is, it sounds like the stereo installer screwed something up. I can't think of anything headlight related that he would have been close to. The voice warning outputs to the drivers side door speaker. If you got new speakers chances are he didn't hook it up.

i looked at the fuses and i found the one with the prob but when i put a new one it fries the fuse do i have a short somewhere?

 

Sounds like maybe a bad ground or something. I had a stereo put in once (not in my z) and every time i turned on the headlights the stereo would quit. Turns out the circuit city kid grounded the stereo to the wrong thing.

 

Yup, you have to be careful who installs your stereo...the peopole at circuit city grounded mine into the fuking AC shizzy or something and i had to have all the AC redone...electrical and all...
