Idle Adjustment
I have an 87' 300ZX NA with automatic transmisison that I've owned for a few months. Where is the idle adjustment? I'm currently idling at around 700 rpms and want to up it a bit. Also, I can't seem to figure out what is causing a jerking hesitation whenever I accelerate hard at 5-10 mph (it does this intermittently, but not every time). I've had all fluids (transmission, fuel, oil) flushed and refilled, new alternator, new distributor and complete tune-up with NGK spark plugs & wires, new hi-flow cat with performance exhaust. Prior owners say that timing belt was done at 62K..I bought the car with 67K miles in Feb/2003 and it now has 72K.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks!
The engine purrs like a kitten at idle and top-end speeds and the transmission shifts smoothly. Can I have a bad injector or something funky going on with air flow/air sensor? What is the best method to diagnose the problem? A Mechanic or local Nissan dealer?

There is way to take off part of your intake and check to see if the air flow sensor glows white right after you turn off the engine. The sensor gets the dust and what not off of it by an electric current that heats part of the sensor up till it glows white hot. This is at least what I I have read. So if it doesnt glow white, somethings not right.
