Idle Air adjustment Screw
Ok, I was searching around, and I couldn't find info on this. Where is your idle adjutment screw dupposed to be at. I mean I know where it is located but how far in or out should it be?

No, we know where it's located, but where is it supposed to be positioned? How far in should the screw be? Is there a correct positioning? But, hey, thanks, it's good to see a new user already lending a helpful hand!

oh my fualt, i definitly did not read that enough, there's a yellow plug connecter to the aac valve. the plug is on the iaa unit toward next to the firewall, it's held in by a wire clip. unhook that first then adjust the idle. you can turn the screw clockwise slowly and see what happens.
Here's it easier... in order
with car idle, unplug yellow connector
turn idle adjustment screw to set base idle
counter clockwise to increase idle
clockwise to decrease idle
plug in the yellow connector, idle should shoot up about 500 rpm to indicate the ECU is taking over idle control
I don't know if this helps but this is all i know it =)

Hey is it ok to unplug the yellow connector before starting the car? It gets hot b/c I want to let it warm up before adjusting the idle to make sure I get the actual last minute adjustment. I know, I'm a baby.

This was posted earlier in the thread. It may be hard to seee where the whole pic is taken from, but it's towards the back of your engine bay. go to the drivers side fender and look behind the plenum, in there a bit. It will look like a screw inside of a little "growth" (couldn't think of anything else) on the rest of that piece of metal (the aiv, aac, etc.). it's right between the firewall and the back of the plenum. Let me know if you need anymore help finding it.
