All of the idiot lights at the bottom of my analog dash are shorting on when the RPMs go over 1500. Nothing seems to be wrong other than that when it happens. My guess is that it's the generator or regulator, but before I buy anything, I was wondering if anyone else has heard of this problem and could suggest a solution.

 

Most likely, it is the alternator. If it goes on above 1500 RPMs, I'd guess it is overcharging, but who knows.

Anyway, take the car to autozone or one of those and have them test it. Just to make sure.
