In the US, the turbos only came as 2 seaters.

if you find the driveshaft from one of those cars, send me the diff!

that is a rare car to find these days. Won't a 1984-86 turbo driveshaft work just the same?

Nope. Output shaft of the transmission is very different.

Irrelevant. In North America, there were no 2+2 turbo 5 speeds. The Canadian 2+2 turbos were all automatics.

I believe the 84-86 5spd turbo shaft will slip into the auto transmissions (and vice versa). But I'm fairly certain the length was different and will not work.

It's the Z32 turbos that don't come in a 2+2.

Mine's a 2-seater. The fiche (4-M8) shows the following:

07/83 - 2S.VG30T.MT.F5 (37000-03P00)
09/86 - VG30T.MT.F5 (37000-23P00)

Have no idea why the 09/86 part doesn't have the 2S because like Z-Bum said, only 2-seat 89T were sold in the US. Also, there seems to be a gap in the fiches for the 08/84-08/96 2S.VG30T cars!!!! Based on the fiche data, only the 09/86 data will fit mine.

So, does anyone have a driveshaft for this car?

I live in MD and I'm sure someone here (MD, VA, DE, DC area) makes one. I'll start looking. BTW I did get a used driveshaft and the car is running fine now. But I have no idea what the mileage was on the used one and I have this sinking feeling it'll start vibrating in a few years. I'll like to have a spare made.

u can get a spare one made and get the other balanced. they will tell u if its worth it or not (the yokes could have seen better days) but if u have one that fits the car just give that to them and they will be able to easily make u one.

Does anyone else think "MORON" every time they see someone type the letter "U" instead of writing out "YOU"?

Did I hurt YOUR feelings bum?????? Surely would not want to do such a thing. As for as writing proper grammar on a internet forum, it is pretty pointless. Guess dealing with people like you every day just makes my IQ go down below 60. So I guess that makes me a "MORON".

Exactly. It's a message board. A place where anyone and everyone can read and post, that would include your boss, prospective clients, prospective employers, etc. So if you want to come across as an un or undereducated individual, that's your prerogative.

If you're on a PM or instant messenger where you're talking with your friends, feel free to type however you want. Those are private (well, unless you're Dog the Bounty Hunter) discussions.

I guess dealing with people like you all the time makes me ornery and cranky.

eh, i see no probem with using "U" instead of you and "Y" instead of why, but its not bad until people start typing like this "c u l8rz!!!!111" but just a little abbreviation here and there isnt bad.
