ok, so i now when i put my 87 in park (i know, auto, but it was such a good deal) and step on the brake i hear a clicking sound from the shifter. i know its the lock or whatever that keeps you from pushing the button when the brake isnt depressed and it doesnt seem to me like it should be a terrible bad thing, but new noises worry me. are my worries relevant or is it not a big deal?

its more than a click, and i louder than it used to be, but im probably just being paranoid.
