I don't know what tha hell is goin on..

So My 84 turbo is acting really weird, If i hit tha gas at idle it bogs down, or barely revs, but if i sit there and pump the pedal, once it gets over 3k it runs fine, i just have to keep it above 3k. If it goes back down then I have to repeat the pumping process all over again.. Anyone have a clue about whats going on?

Is it possible the fuel filter is clogged a bit? I had a 240 when I was in HS and the FF ALWAYS clogged because we had REALLY crappy gas in KS

Probably a bad CHTS, MAF, or both. I think above 3K RPM the ECU kind of kicks into open loop and that's about when most of the sensors stop really mattering as it's just running off the pre-programmed fuel maps in the ECU. Don't hold me to that though. I just remember when my 280ZXT had a bad CHTS it would run awful until you hit a higher speed, for me 65mph on the freeway, it would be over 3K and ran beautifully. If only I'd have known that then, it would have saved me a lot of headache.

ok so i ran the codes, and the only one other than 14 and 31, which from what I gathered are supposed too show, the only other one was 23.. It said Idle switch, I called my local parts store, and they didn't even pull up an idle switch, so what now?

Idle switch = TPS (throttle position sensor).
