How to remove windsheild washer resivour on 86z??????????
I need to remove the resivour to replace my master & slave cilynder, and I cant seem to get it out for the life of GOD and now I've made it leak too.
I'm just wondering how many threads he's going to start that are all related to doing the exact same job... BUY A MANUAL ALREADY FOR CHRIST'S SAKE! I applaud AZ-ZBum for his incredible restraint here.

I cant write in all the big letters and stuff but i could not buy a manual at any of the auto parts stores around here and the job needed 2 be done by me in a window of only a few hrs. Thats rite i started a few threads to get as much help as possible without a MANUAL. Everyone stop saying manual already cause i adressed that already. MORE HELP AND LESS MANUAL TALK WHEN I CANT GET ONE IN 24 HRS.
And as far as some of you more substance and less babble.

I think the thing is just that some people get a little annoyed when simple questions come up that can easily be answered with a little searching.
And I think the thing now is that you get yourself a manual. We know it's not going to be able to help you with this current situation. But the point is to get one for FUTURE reference. It's just that a lot people come on here and just ask questions without ever making any effort to try to figure things out or find a piece of information themselves. I'm not pointing the finger at you, but it happens enough that it gets to be a bit much. We're all happy to help people with any problems they encounter. But we're not here to hold peoples hands. I can google any one of the topics you mentioned and get all the answers you needed in a matter of minutes.

basically, you need to be willing to help yourself before others will help you. we'll help you out, but we wont hold your hand. this forum has a search fuction, please feel free to use it. many of your questions have already been covered in previous threads. and i am fully aware that you dont have immediate access to a manual, all i am saying is you really should order one so you have a reference tool. it helps to have it right in front of you, and fits in a toolbox better than a computer.

Dude, let me give you some advice and a little history lesson.
If you stick around here long enough you will find out that this is by far the cooolest Z car forum on the internet. The people here are awesome and very knowledgable. Most members here will bend over backwards to help you. There is however, a certain "etiquette" here though. It's very irritating when someone posts multiple threads regarding the same topic. If you have multiple questions about the same subject, then ask them in one thread. Before asking a question, utilize the "search" feature of the site. You will almost always find what you are looking for without ever having to ask for it. There is nothing more irritating here than a noobie digging themselves into a giant hole by asking redundant questions and then getting pissy with the people offering advice. If that's the way you operate then I suggest you go over to tt.net. There's a couple thousand guys over there that love to act like hard ons. We WANT to help you, but you need to understand the basic operating structure of the forum. You also NEED a manual. It's the first thing you should reference before undergoing any task. The Z31 Manual is available at every Auto parts store in my town. I'm sure if you looked hard enough or travelled a few extra miles, that you could find one.
The easiest way to get people NOT to help you is to come in as the new guy and **** them off by talking smack just because you got ribbed a little for being a noobie. Take your lumps and move on. Like I wrote earlier, this is a great site with great people but we aren't all here to answer the same questions that have been covered time and again and we certainly don't come here to get sniped by a noobie who is clearly in over their head already. I hope you stick around and learn a few things. I REALLY hope you get your Z just the way you want it. We're a great community and you're welcome here as long as you don't abuse the priviledge. Hang in there... Some day soon you'll be an old verteran talking smack to the noobies

No Im not getting mad. And ive done some searches because I know how forums work they ALL stress SEARCHES. The thing is that The Z31 is a new car to me and a little intimidating to work on myself (especally for the first time).I got alot of info from the searches but I would of assumed that someone would of had a walkthrough for something you all say is so simple. I'm 21 and had about 21 cars but most of them have been Preludes. This is a great site and everyone has been helpful but I know what I did by starting numerous threads, cause I did it because this was a dire situation to me.
I deffinately will find me a manual but might be hard around here, probally will order one.
Most of the auto parts stores around here have to order Z31 parts cause I havent seen another Z31 around here since about 2 summers ago when my friend had his 2 84 turbos, not 1 since.

Yeah, going from a prelude to a Z31 is a huge difference. The engine bay in the Z31 can be pretty intimidating for sure. You should see the Z32! I almost got rid of mine after opening the hood for the first time. Anyway, keep trying... You'll find one.
You must live in the ultra-boonies from the way it sounds. You seriously haven't seen another Z31 in two years? Holy crap! That's pretty sad actually. Z deprivation can drive a man to psycosis!

Actually I live in Hartford CT and this is far from the boonies its actually the HOOD, people gettin shot everyday round here. No Z31's cause people are into civics and **** like that. I get so much respect for having a nice Z31 people are in awe everyday and I get stared at so much you would think I got a Bentely. Its my oppinion that there are only a few left in the whole state of CT.

Yeah the first thing I thought when I bought it was straight to the stealership for any labor cause I'm deffinetley not letting none of these crackhead mechanics due any work for me on my baby (and the crackheads around here due damn good work on cars). But nope still not touching it.
