high squeal when i start

Hey guys whats's

. I got a bit of an annoying problem. Everytime I start "the beast"

she gives out a high pithched squeal. I think I just have to tighten my belts. But when I checked them last night they seemed to be fine. Any suggestions? Also I think it is about time for a new blow off valve. I originally had a HKS blow off but that was a mistake

. Im thinking of a GReddy or Faster. You know the ones the Japanese manufatures held out on us on.

It's probably still the belts. I had to tighten my several times just to get rid of it. Once I thought I had it tight enough, it would start again, so under the car I went again.

When was the last time you changed your belts? Might it be time for new ones?

Yeah, I tightend the belts about three times last night and finally it stopped squeaking. I think I should just get new belts anyway so I wont have to tighten them every three days.

Still squealing?

If your problem persists, maybe try replacing either your idler or tensioner pulley. I had a problem very similar to yours on my 1984 N/A 2-seater. Let me know if it works.
