I have a problem with my 1986 non turbo Z.
On start up the car runs very rich to the point you have a very strong smell of gas from the exhaust and the car runs very rough. I pulled replaced the plugs which where fouled with no effect. I ran the codes from the ECU and came up with code 12 MAF and code 13 CHTS. My question is which way do I start to trouble shoot ?? Or has anyone experance this and has a solution ??

if things clear up once you reach operating temp then quite likely the chts is to blame.
