ok my car has been sitting in the garage for some time now, because i don't really know how to fix the problem. when i start the car it stays on for about a second or two then the rpm starts slowly going down to 0. also while the car car is on for the few seconds i step on the gas pedal just to see if it will help stay on a bit longer, it actually helps the car turn off and feels like there is a delay when i do press down on it. another thing is i've used some starter fluid while the car is on and this helps the car stay on longer but when i stop feeding it the fluid, it slowly dies on me. i have check the lines and fuel is coming to the motor, so if anyone could help i would highly appreciate it. THanks.

It sounds like your problem might be a sensor, such as the CHTS or O2. Try running the codes and see if it picks up anything.

Somehow, I doubt you're going to hear from him.
