If you have an adjustable wastegate arm, you can do it that way too (threaded linkage). It's a slight nightmare to get to it in the Z31. That's why it's a lot easier to install a boost controller (electronic is 1000000% better than manual), so you can adjust it whenever you want. EBC's are much more accurate, control boost spikes, and can be adjusted from the cockpit while driving.

That's like asking, "how do you steer a car without a steering wheel?"

The only stupid question is a stupid question not asked. Overall Im not fully familiar with the whole system and functionality of the z31 that's why it brings me to this site. So i can establish the same professionality such as ya self in this particular generation. For example when i was stationed in Japan i owned a 1997 nissan skyline stock and for adjustment to the boost could be done by a simple twist of one screw that was inside a electronical looking box. That's stock. So i figured maybe it could be the same situation here being the manufactorer is Nissan.

if you want to turn up your boost go get a manual or electric boost controller.
and remember you get what you pay for on this one

Since I've never seen a 1997 Nissan Skyline, and you probably don't have any pictures of said device, I can only surmise that it's a boost controller.

Can I turn water into bread? If I jump off the coffee table, flapping my arms, will I fly?

Nothing, but it's just as ridiculous, IMO. Just being my normally partly sarcastic self. No sense of humor?

Weld the waste gate shut and run good fuel.
