Hey guys,
So I've been having hella problems with my tranny swap. I bought an 89 NA tranny off of a guy who said it had approx. 80k miles on it, and took it to a good shop to get it swapped. Now, I'm told the torque converter supplied to me is not fitting correctly, and I also have to buy a flex plate to fit it in. The mechanic said the torque converter fits loosely, unlike any he's used before. I think I'd have to buy another torque converter as well, for approximately 150 dollars.
I also have the opportunity to get an 85 turbo tranny, with the flywheel and everything, for 75 bucks. but it has 140k on it and has been sitting outside for a little while. Any and all suggestions appreciated.
