anyone want to start a pool on when we see this as an incomplete project in the For Sale section?

no offense kid, but you are gonna **** away a lot of money on something that is likely not going to work the way you want it. i really don't think you understand what is involved with this swap. save yourself the hassle and money, go with a VG30ET if you want your z31 to be faster. heck, go look in the z32 section and see how much of a pain in the *** it is to swap the TT into an NA z32. thats the same car, and the swap is a royal bitch.

it may be a pita, but how many people are complaining about the motor itself after putting it in?

why don't you go help him since you're so confident it can be done properly. Since he's in high school I think he could use the help. Plus you can do his algebra while your'e at it.

it's "DO", not "DUE".

And when one of these retards actually completes a VG30DETT swap, I'll eat my hat.

the misspelling was intentional, used in a facetious manner. i would have imagined that you of all people would be familiar with the concept of sarcasm.

it wouldnt be that hard, but it would cost about the same to swap in the TT motor.

you'd be suprised what those NA motors can do..

no i wouldnt, they are fairly maxed out from the factory, you can "free up" power and get tehm to make a little more to bring them right around TT numbers, and NOS is cheating and i doubt it would hold LONG. they are strong motors though i will give them that.

it would cost hell of a lot more than a tt swap if you could even get there. youd be surprised how far you wouldnt get

Yes. Really. Retard.

Or were you being facetious also?

If that's the case, then sarcasm doesn't translate well over the internet. Either post a smiley or something to insinuate that you're making fun of someone being stupid.

hoov: you haven't once actually contributed to the Z31 section of this board. At least, not something worth mentioning. Have you or do you even own a Z31? From your posts, it sure doesn't appear it. I don't give a **** if an NA VG30DE has achieved 1,000 hp. The fact still remains that no Z31 owner on this board has actually ever completed a DOHC swap. Mostly because anyone asking for details about how to complete a swap is obviously only smart enough to be able to tie their shoes. Anything beyond that is way out of their league.

A DOHC swap has been done. It's been done a few times over. But not by anyone in the US of A. Why? Because the most common person who buys a Z31 can barely afford a full tank of gas. And that's why I have no issue with my bet.

It's pretty easy to tell since DUE isn't the only word misspelled... HOMEWERK / GURLZ / LEGANDRY.

Everyone else got that joke anyway........ We need a "that went right over your head" smilie.

EDIT

PS... simple comprehension pwns you in this case. (ppss... I spelled PWNS that way on purpose).

What does a stock TT put out at the wheels? Some guys are dynoing over 220 rwhp on their n/a's with bolt-ons.

Which means a lightly modded n/a will give a stock TT a run for it's money. So, if you put a lightly modded n/a motor in a z31, it'll go pretty good.

stock TT should be around 260whp. i havent seen any ""lightly modified" n/as over 220 whp. theyve all required cams to get them over.

You don't hang around Zdriver enough to understand our jokes. In fact, that one even originated from the Z31 section.
