Winter tires

SLC, UTAH!
I've driven my 88' Z for about 5 years here through every season, mainly on 18"s and Falken Z rated tires... It's HELL ON WHEELS. I took to my ****in Vino Scooter faster than the weather man could say S... If you know how to ROLL, then it's not exactly ..tooo..bad i guess. Can't take an acute hill unless your spinnin in FIRST at a constant 2-3 MPH, nonetheless...TRY not to completely STOP anywhere & time out your speed to roll through your turns and driveways.
I might actually have to go back to 16" stock, so I'll post up the BEEF if it comes to that ugly ****.

I ended up going with the Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S this year, and they're doing about as well as you can expect a RWD LSD car to do in severe blizzard type snow, I guess. I haven't gotten stuck in two inches of packed snow yet or anything, at least. I got stuck a few times last year in ridiculous amounts of snow, with the PZero Neros M&S. They sucked! Never again. I can't imagine they're good in either mud or snow. Pirelli lied!
I love getting sideways, as long as I don't get stuck. Still, I wouldn't even try to drive it in anything over about 5 inches of snow. 6 inches and the car stays home. It just piles up under neath it too badly.

New tire sugestions?
New to the sight so hope I am doing this right?
I have a 1986 300ZX N/A on the factory wheels. I am looking to replace the tires. Went to Discount Tire and they only had two options, both all season tires with H speed rating. Any suggestions on where I might find more options and in a V rated summer performance tire? Also, should I stay with the stock tire size or would any one suggest something different?
Thank you.
