wheel and tire swap

i have been raping a junked 1990 300zx and fixing up my 1986 300zx. the junk car has the original rims which i like the vented ones with the z in the middle hub. They seem to be in good shape no cracks or bends just need some love. Will they be a direct fit for the 86 i have and can i put a lower profile tire on the stock rims?

I think you are confused. the stock z32 wheels have no z in the middle. the stock z31 wheels do

well obviously both the yard and I can not read. it is an 87 2+2 300zx. so yeah i ripped off the stock rims and did a first scrubbing on them. nice and clean. They should bolt right on to the car. i dont think there is a difference with the bolt pattern between the 86 and 87 300zx. Anyway, going to start sanding them down, get the clear coat off and any roughness around it. Polish it super shiny, and have the vents powder coated a nice metallic red. Kind of like my delorean rims had. Think that plus some low pro tires and eiboch lowering springs, the car will look kind of slick.
