Speaker Problem

I was thinking that my rear left speaker was blown so I switched my rear speakers, and I figured out that it's not the speakers. The whole left side, both speakers, has no bass when I'm using the equalizer, but they do when I have the defeat button on. The treble is fine as far as I can tell. Not sure what the problem is. Any ideas? Thanks for the help!

Yes I know. Only the bass doesn't work, and it's only on the left side, and it's only when I have the equalizer on. When I press the defeat button everything works fine.

It's 25 year old technology built over 20 years ago. It's not uncommon for something to go wrong internally. Most amps and EQs will have separate left and right channels. So to have one side go out all at once would indicate an internal problem.

Either rebuild the unit or upgrade it to something made in the last decade.
