Rubber triangles

Hey, I just bought some rubber triangles for the windows on my 88 2+2. I was wondering if anyone knew exactly how to put them on?

You have to remove the outside mirrors. Pop off the inside mirror cover, unscrew the bolts and take off the mirrors. Slide off the triangles and replace with the new ones. Reinstall in reverse. Here's looking at you kid!

Just to be clear, and safe, by "pop off" the mirror cover, do you mean to take out the mirror and the plastic thing it is glued onto? And if so, how?
