Power Antena or Not

I am going to be picking up an 87 300ZX this weekend w/126,000 miles on her. Looks real good for the year. But my question is does it have a power antena or not. The person I am buying it from says it is no longer there as in broken off. I guess. So I need to know if I can just replace it with a regualr non powered mast or not.

Yes. It came with a power antenna. Depending on what's actually broken, you can always just buy the mast for about $30 and replace that.

or shave the thing off. radio sucks, cd's are better.

you can replace it with a manual antenna, just remove everythong, find the right antenna at your local car parts joint, just make sure you get a flat circle in the right diam, and replace.
